Youth Navigator at Sunrise House

The Youth Navigator is here to help unsupported youth become independent and develop life skills.

Unsupported youth = Youth aged 15-24 who are at risk of becoming homeless, currently homeless, transient or couchsurfing

Assistance can include:

Navigating the Housing First process (YMCA, ASLS, Centrepoint)
Help communicating with Child & Family Services
Assistance with gaining Alberta Supports
Opening a bank account
Help job searching and handing out resumes
Job interview practice and assistance finding appropriate clothing for work
Transport to appointments like job interviews, or medical appointments
Cooking
Budgeting
Grocery shopping
